Basketball is a favorite sport among our athletes. Players take it up at all ages and at all abilities, from young players learning to handle the ball to older, more experienced players who have the moves and know the strategies to play challenging ball.

Basketball is the largest sport in Area 26, and one of the largest in Virginia.  We have over 60 traditional and 20  unified teams, at levels from Beginner to Expert.

Our season runs from November to the end of March, and we have several tournaments, beginning in January, and culminating in our own separate State Championships
